In order to achieve its objective to lower greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, Canada needs to drastically accelerate the decarbonization of its industries. The role of the regulator in defining a clear objective, as well as coalitions of the willing to achieve that objective, will be absolutely necessary to reach a sustainable Canadian economy.

This live panel and Q&A brings together experts from Canada’s industries and not-for-profit groups to explore Canada’s progress in achieving net-zero in its industries; the coalitions that will be necessary to make that happen; technology development and adoption; and the role of government.
