Raylene Whitford

Raylene Whitford is Director of Canative Energy, a 100% Indigenous-owned social enterprise supporting the economic empowerment of Indigenous communities affected by the energy sector. A Cree-Métis finance professional, she previously worked with KPMG UK and BP, led a major Middle East capital-efficiency project, and holds an MBA from Aberdeen Business School.

Canative Energy is a social enterprise founded in Edmonton in 2016 and owned and operated by Indigenous Canadians. It works with Indigenous communities to build administrative, commercial and operating capacity and help commercialize community businesses.
