Hans Matthews is the president of the Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association. An alumni of Brock University's geological and earth sciences program, Matthews has spent more than three decades in the mining sector and today is a member of Environment and Climate Change Canada's Review Panel Roster. He also sits on the boards of the Northern Centre for Advanced Technology and the Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre.

The Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association (CAMA) is a non-profit dedicated to improving Canadians' understanding of the mining industry, aboriginal mining, and the interests of Indigenous peoples in mining on their traditional lands. The organization's annual conference on the resource industry and aboriginal community development is the premier go-to event for the aboriginal minerals sector in Canada.
