A great event at Spruce Meadows for Holland Day – Jumping to Energy 2.0 led by the Dutch Consulate and TheFutureEconomy.ca. A tremendous line-up of energy and environmental thought leaders, including the University of Calgary’s Dr. Harrie Vredenburg. An important discussion on the current state of play as well as ideas for how we can work together to build a stronger Alberta and Canada.”

It was a great privilege to be invited by the Consulate of the Netherlands to Holland Day at Spruce Meadows on September 9th, 2017. Not only is the BMO Nations Cup a world class jumping show, but the morning discussions about the current energy and climate change challenges facilitated by TheFutureEconomy.ca was quite enlightening. Thanks to all. It was a great event!

“Thank you to the Dutch Consulate and TheFutureEconomy.ca for hosting such a wonderful event, everything was clearly well thought out from the speakers and venue to the delicious cuisine. I found the speakers very insightful regarding how the Alberta energy sector is adapting to the social push for renewables, while at the same time showcasing how innovative our technology sector is. I truly enjoyed being able to network while watching the Spruce Meadows Masters and enjoying the various delicious appetizers and lunch selection, all in all a wonderful day and I would be privileged to attend this event again.”
